This policy covers two things: this website (zagle.ai), and Zagle itself, the software shops use to run their orders, stock, couriers and books. "We" means Zagle. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@zagle.ai.
This website
The website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not ask you to sign up. Its fonts, images and videos are served from our own site, not from third parties.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs of requests (such as IP address, browser and the page asked for) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn and our customers' websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
When you contact us
If you message us on WhatsApp (+880 1733-155601) or email us, we receive what you send: your name, number or email address, and your message. We use it to reply, to show you Zagle, and to set your shop up if you decide to use it. We do not add you to marketing lists.
Data inside Zagle
A shop's records in Zagle belong to the shop. They include its products, stock, orders, purchases, payments and books, its staff accounts, and the details of its own customers (such as names, phone numbers and delivery addresses) that arrive through chats, the website or the counter. We hold and process this data to run Zagle for the shop, and for nothing else.
- Kept separate. Every read and write is scoped to one shop; no other shop on Zagle can see it.
- Access inside the shop. The shop decides who sees what through roles, and changes are recorded in an audit trail.
- No selling, no advertising. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use a shop's records for advertising.
Services a shop connects
Zagle shares data with other services only when the shop connects them and uses them:
- Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp (Meta): to receive and answer the shop's customer chats.
- The shop's WordPress (WooCommerce) website: to bring orders in and send stock and the catalogue back.
- Pathao, Steadfast and RedX: to book parcels, which sends the recipient's name, phone number, address and cash-on-delivery amount, and to receive status updates and payouts. The fraud check looks up a customer's delivery history with Pathao and RedX.
- Ask: uses an AI model to turn a question into a query. The figures in the answer are calculated by Zagle from the shop's own records.
How long we keep it
We keep a shop's data for as long as the shop uses Zagle. When a shop stops, it can ask us for an export of its records, and for them to be deleted, except where the law requires us to keep something for longer.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@zagle.ai. If you are a customer of a shop that uses Zagle, your details are that shop's records: ask the shop first, and we will help it answer you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how a shop's data is handled, we will tell the shop first.
